สมาคมการค้าอุตสาหกรรมกัญชงไทย ก่อตั้งขึ้นจากผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์ในการประกอบกิจการกัญชาและกัญชง ทั้งในรูปแบบของเส้นใยไฟเบอร์ สารสกัดเพื่อการแพทย์และการพาณิชย์ Supplement, Food and Beverage, Skincare and Cosmetic ทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ เพื่อให้สมาคมเป็นศูนย์กลางของความร่วมมือในการช่วยเหลือ ส่งเสริม และ สนับสนุนกลุ่มสมาชิก ให้สามารถขับเคลื่อนธุรกิจได้อย่างราบรื่น ช่วยให้ความรู้ความเข้าใจในกลุ่มสมาชิกตลอดไปจนถึงบุคคลภายนอกที่สนใจ ช่วยประสานความร่วมมือระหว่างองค์กร หน่วยงานภาครัฐ บริษัทเอกชนต่างๆ ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ เพื่อให้เกิดการขับเคลื่อนในเชิงเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรม จนนำไปสู่ความมั่นคงของผู้ประกอบการกัญชงในประเทศไทย
